Haidilao has launched the “Dream-Fulfilling Scholarship” plan, awarding scholarships to 508 children of employees who have just entered university, with a total amount of 4.47 million yuan. The scholarship aims to subsidize the education investment of employees’ families and encourage children to continue their education and pursue a better future.

Regardless of whether it is an undergraduate degree or a junior college, every child of an employee who receives higher education can receive scholarship incentives. Ms. Liu, who has worked at Haidilao for 27 years, currently works at the Jianyang store in Sichuan. Her two children have been enjoying the company’s education subsidies since they were in kindergarten, and they are still enjoying the university education subsidies provided by the company now that they are in college.

Since 2005, Haidilao has started to provide education subsidies for employees’ children, and institutionalized this policy in 2007. Employees’ children enjoy corresponding subsidies at different academic stages from the age of three to college graduation. In 2020, on the basis of education subsidies, Haidilao launched the “Dream Scholarship” program for colleges, providing a bonus of 8,800 yuan per person for each employee’s child who dreams of going to college.

Since the “Dream Scholarship” was launched in 2020, Haidilao has issued “Dream Scholarships” to 1,443 employees’ children for four consecutive years, with a total amount of 13.8 million yuan. In addition to encouraging and supporting employees’ children’s education, Haidilao also continues to support grassroots education in Sichuan.

In March this year, Haidilao donated the proceeds from the 30th anniversary “Hot Pot Music Festival” to Jianyang, Sichuan for grassroots education, supporting the construction of primary and secondary school mental health education centers, the purchase of psychological education books and mental health training. In May this year, teachers from Haidilao’s mental health department went to Jianyang Hefeng Pu’an School and held a public welfare “Minors’ Mental Health Lecture” for more than 100 junior high school students and parents.
