Haji Ali Juice Centre Outlets Seized in Kochi
Kochi: In a recent development, the Kochi outlets of Haji Ali Juice Centre, a prominent juice retail chain, have been seized by the authorities.
The seized outlets are located in Panampilly Nagar, Edappally, Kothamangalam, Aluva, and Kakkanad. As part of the seizure, the legal team has confiscated all items bearing the Haji Ali group’s name, including equipment and signage.
The license for the Kochi outlets is held by Vinod Nair. However, the Haji Ali Group claims that Nair has been operating five establishments under a branch license, which is in dispute. Asma Noorani, the owner of the juice center, had approached the Bombay High Court to resolve the issue. Vinod Nair, on the other hand, maintains that the dispute is between the Master Franchise in Chennai and the Haji Ali Group, and his outlets were inadvertently drawn into the matter.
