Hajj pilgrims’ residence under tight security surveillance: Saudi prosecution, saudi arabia

Riyadh: The Saudi Arabian Public Prosecution has confirmed that the stay of Hajj pilgrims in the holy cities is subject to the highest security standards. The Saudi prosecution said the pilgrims’ residence was free of any hazards and other harmful substances. The public prosecution confirmed that the authorities had taken strict measures to ensure security standards and to ensure that pilgrims were not deceived.

The shelters have fully complied with fire protection requirements. No fraudulent measures have been found on the part of the engineering offices in the security plans. No negligence was found in maintaining the safety measures prescribed by the technical or organizational regulations. The importation, sale, or installation of security systems, equipment, and devices that do not comply with internationally or nationally recognized technical regulations or standards is strictly prohibited. After suspension due to any dangerous breach, it is prohibited to fully or partially restart a facility without resolving the issue. Hajj pilgrims face up to six months in prison and a fine of up to 30,000 riyals for violating any of the activities prohibited by the authorities in the area where they are preparing to stay.
