Haluk Levent asked about the massacre in Gaza at the UN meeting! He talked about those moments on CNN Turk

Founder of AHBAP Association and singer Haluk Levent made statements about the massacre in Gaza at the UN meeting in Kenya.

Levent explained what happened in the hall in the Night Vision program hosted by Hürriyet Newspaper Ankara Representative Hande Fırat, broadcast on CNN Türk:

I won’t be able to talk much because the meetings are continuing. We drew the attention of the UN about what we did during earthquakes, fires and floods. They asked me to talk about AHBAP. However, I looked at the World Health Organization reports… It says that 600 thousand children are in danger of death at the Rafah Border Gate. I said, “Haluk, what can you do? You have such an opportunity. Let the whole world hear about it.” I came out and said it, of course there was a lot more I said. The UN needs to become even more independent. I wanted to say many things but the lady tried to cut me off. Almost all of the people applauding came up to me. They never expected such a conversation. Journalists from many parts of the world asked their questions. I am ready to do whatever is necessary for the Palestinian people. I have made songs in the past too.

APPLAUSE SOUNDS IN THE HALL

In his speech at the UN, Levent said, “I bring greetings from my beautiful country, Turkey. I came here today to explain my projects, but when I woke up this morning, I learned that more than 600 thousand children in Gaza are in great danger. As AHBAP, we tried to send humanitarian aid to Gaza, but it was too much.” “We have encountered many obstacles. As you know, more than 100 UN employees lost their lives. I also want to ask Prime Minister Netanyahu a question: How can you justify the killing of more than 10 thousand children?” he said.

Haluk Levent received the applause of other participants in the meeting with his speech.
