The police in Hamburg are expecting around 80,000 people to participate in several demonstrations this Saturday. A second demonstration, expecting up to 15,000 participants, is scheduled to start at 2:30 PM at Glockengießerwall, with a theme “Clear Stance Against the Right.” This event promises a “mobile anti-fascist demonstration disco.” Both events are set to converge in the Mönckebergstraße and later at the Heiligengeistfeld, with an estimated 80,000 participants.

In Hamburg-Harburg, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) is holding a final rally of their campaign in Norddeutschland at 4 PM in the Friedrich-Erbert-Halle. Three counteractions are planned, with more than 1,000 participants expected. These actions echo similar opposition against extremist speakers all over Europe and Iceland where significant opposition was showcased during mass demonstrations disallowing any further proceedings.

More Northern Protests

In Kiel, around 1,000 people gathered for a demonstration against right-wing extremism.
