[이데일리 김민정 기자] The second trial was held against Han Seo-hee, a former singer trainee, who revealed that singer B.I had purchased drugs.

On the 14th, the second trial of Han So-hee, who was indicted for violating the Narcotics Management Act, was held at the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Court in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.

In July of last year, Han Seo-hee was detained and released from probation after a urine test conducted by the probation office unexpectedly tested positive for psychotropic drugs such as methamphetamine (methamphetamine) and amphetamine.

The prosecution took steps to cancel Han Seo-hee’s probation, but Han Seo-hee insisted on a urine test error, and the hair test was negative.

However, it is said that the prosecution continued to investigate Han Seo-hee, and after the allegations were cleared to a certain extent, the case was handed over to trial.

As Han Seo-hee is accused of using drugs during the probation period, the trial result is drawing more attention.

Previously, Seo-hee Han was sentenced to 3 years in prison and 4 years of probation for purchasing 90g of cannabis 4 times from July to December 2016 and smoking 7 times at her home in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Last year, B.I, a former iKON member, was on the line of investigation on drug allegations, but the police did not properly investigate B.I, and it became a topic of public interest when he reported that he was threatened by B.I’s agency, YG Entertainment.

A trial was also held on the same day against Yang Hyun-suk, former CEO of YG Entertainment, who threatened Han Seo-hee.

The 23rd Criminal Settlement Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Judge Yoo Young-geun) held the first trial preparation date for Yang, who was indicted without detention on charges of retaliation under the Act on Aggravated Punishment for Specific Crimes at 11 a.m. on the same day.

Yang has denied all charges on the same day. Yang’s legal representative said, “I absolutely deny the charges,” and said, “It is true that we met and talked, but there was no threat or coercion.”

He also requested the court, saying, “The record of evidence is so vast and even unrelated cases are intertwined, so it is necessary to separate the evidence.”
