The outline of the candidate group for the next head of Hana Financial Group, which is about to replace the group’s CEO after 10 years, has been revealed.

On the 28th, Hana Financial Group held a Chairman Candidate Recommendation Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Household Committee”) and appointed Ham Young-joo, Vice Chairman of Hana Financial Group, Park Seong-ho, CEO of Hana Bank, Yoon Kyu-seon, CEO of Hana Capital, Lee Seong-yong, former CEO of Bain & Company Korea, and Choi Hee-nam, former president of Korea Investment Corporation. It was selected as the shortlist for the chairman of the financial group.

After going through fair and transparent deliberation in accordance with the ‘CEO and Chairman’s Management Succession Plan and Candidate Recommendation Procedure’, the committee selects 3 internal candidates and 2 external candidates from the short list for the management succession of Hana Financial Group. It was narrowed down to a total of 5 people. Prior to this, in January, the committee selected 11 candidates (6 internal candidates and 5 external candidates) from the Long List.

On this day, the Committee said, “In selecting the final short list, we will continue to lead Hana Financial Group’s growth stably in a time of change and challenge when the boundaries of the financial industry are collapsing, while promoting the group’s core strategies such as digital transformation, globalization, and ESG. We have selected the right people as candidates,” he said.

In accordance with the candidate recommendation procedure, the committee verified candidates from various fields through in-depth discussions and selected a new chairman candidate to lead Hana Financial Group through presentations and in-depth interviews with the shortlist in the future. plan to do
