Hardik injured by Pakistani batsman; BCCI scans player

India suffered a major setback after their defeat to Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. During the match, India suffered a setback when Hardik Pandya was hit on the shoulder by Pakistan bowler Shaheen Afridi. The BCCI scanned the player after he hit the ball on the shoulder.

The player, who was injured while batting, did not go down to the field. Hardik was replaced by Ishant Kishan. The BCCI has said that Pandya will be admitted to hospital for scanning. However, the BCCI has not clarified any further details about the player’s injury.

Earlier, Hardik was ruled out for a long time due to a shoulder injury. The player later returned after undergoing surgery and recovering from injury. There was, however, a great deal of discussion about the star’s fitness. Especially when the BCCI included a player in the 15-member squad for the World Cup. The all-rounder has not bowled in matches since recovering from injury. The batsman, who did not bowl an over for the Mumbai Indians in the last IPL after recovering from injury, has not been able to regain his old form in batting. Many, including former players, have commented that Hardik is not fit for the World Cup squad.

But Captain Kohli came on the scene to support Hardik. “Hardik will be able to do well for the Indian team. The number six will give the team a lot of confidence. He will be able to play crucial innings.

Hardick currently has the role of finisher on the team. Hardick has moved from being an all-rounder to playing as a specialist batter. That is why the Indian management has included former reserve captain Shardul Thakur in the 15-member squad to replace Hardik.

India start with defeat; Pakistan wins historic World Cup victory over India

India started the T20 World Cup in the UAE with a defeat. India lost by 10 wickets to Pakistan in the Super 12 of the World Cup. It was Pakistan’s first victory over India in the World Cup.

Chasing India’s target of 152, Pakistan reached the target in 17.5 overs. Captain Babar Azam (68 off 52 balls) and Mohammad Rizwan (72 off 55 balls) scored half-centuries to ease the victory. Shaheen Afridi also took three wickets in the bowling.

Earlier, India lost the toss and opted to bat, scoring 151 for seven in the allotted 20 overs. Captain Virat Kohli’s half-century (57 off 49 balls) and Rishabh Pant’s (39) performance helped India to a better score after an early collapse.
