The Leonia Library Fundraising Gala, a spectacular event featuring art, music, and dinner, is set to take place on the 22nd. Hosted by the Leonia Mayor’s Arts Advisory Committee, this event aims to raise funds to upgrade Leonia Library facilities and improve services.
The gala event will consist of three exciting parts: the first part, an art exhibition and sale, will be held from 3-5 p.m. at Leonia City Hall; the second part, cocktails and dinner, will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. at Leonia Library; and the third part, a benefit concert, will be held from 7-8 p.m. at Leonia City Hall.
The art exhibitions are open to the public and offer a unique opportunity to purchase artwork at significantly reduced prices. The works on display are anonymous donations from local and international artists, as well as donations from famous artists. Selected expensive works will be sold through silent auctions, while the rest will be sold at a lump sum price, and the artist’s identity will be revealed only after purchase.
Part 2 of the event will feature cocktails and a delicious dinner provided by local sponsors. Tickets to the dinner are $120 and include admission to the concert.
The third concert will feature top-class musicians and talented artists, including Broadway musicians Jung Jun-ah and Amy Jung, opera singer tenor Jin-ho Hwang, soprano Jennifer Robinson, mezzo-soprano Esther Lee, and pianist Yun-jin Choi.
