Environmental Concert Promotes Eco-Friendliness in Incheon
9th Environmental Concert to be Held in Incheon
Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Environmental Corporation Resource Recycling Support Center are set to host the ‘9th Environmental Concert’ for Incheon citizens at the artificial turf soccer field of the corporation’s Seunggi Business Office on the 28th.
This two-hour concert, starting at 5 PM, will be a public broadcast of OBS Gyeong-In TV’s Jeon Ki-Hyeon’s ‘Cinemusic Concert’, featuring film music performed by a chamber orchestra. The event promises to be an enchanting experience, with beautiful instrumental performances of the pan flute, vibraphone, and harmonica, as well as the voice of musical actress Lee Hee-joo.
As part of the event, various experiential activities will be held starting at 2 PM, including the Incheon Science and Culture Center’s resource recycling experience program, Incheon City Viewer Media Center experience, and caricature booth operation. These activities aim to promote environmental awareness and provide a fun experience for participants.
According to the chairman of the corporation, Choi Gye-woon, “We hold an environmental concert every year to inform local residents and citizens of the importance of resource recycling facilities.” He added, “As fall approaches, I hope that many citizens will participate and have a meaningful time with the environmental concert, establishing ourselves as an eco-friendly infrastructure.”
Incheon Environmental Corporation Resource Recycling Support Center operates various facilities, including Songdo Sports Park, which features a swimming pool, diving pool, camping ground, and Par3 golf course. The center also operates a resource recovery facility that processes recyclable waste from Jung-gu and Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and implements programs to provide clean environmental welfare to Incheon citizens.
