Harry Styles is giving fans an early listen to his upcoming album, release, “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally,” with a series of listening parties set to take place across 40 cities starting .
The announcement, made via Instagram on , features a simple message: “We wanna dance with all our friends.” The move follows a more intimate listening event last month at Rough Trade in New York City, where hundreds of fans queued for hours to hear a preview of his lead single, “Aperture.”
The album marks Styles’ first new full-length project in four years, following the success of 2022’s “Harry’s House.” The release is already generating significant buzz, fueled by the success of “Aperture,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100. The listening parties are designed to build on that momentum as Styles prepares for a massive global tour kicking off in Amsterdam.
The tour schedule includes an extensive 30-date residency at Madison Square Garden in New York, a demand so high it prompted Styles to add additional shows across Europe. This follows the “Love on Tour” run, which comprised 169 dates and, according to Styles, was “the greatest experience of my entire life.”
“Aperture,” a track that one NME review described as “Styles as we’d not heard him before,” features a collaboration with Wolf Alice’s Ellie Rowsell and was reportedly inspired by seeing LCD Soundsystem perform live. Styles shared that the experience motivated him to reconnect with his passion for music after a three-year hiatus following “Harry’s House.”
Beyond the listening parties and tour, Styles is also slated to perform at this year’s BRIT Awards, which are being held in Manchester for the first time. He last took to the BRITs stage in 2023, where he was nominated for four awards related to “Harry’s House.”
In a move that underscores his commitment to supporting the music ecosystem, Styles will donate £1 from every ticket sold at his Wembley Stadium gigs to LIVE’s levy, a fund dedicated to protecting UK grassroots music venues and fostering emerging talent. He’s also announced a special one-night-only performance of the entire album at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on the album’s release date, with tickets priced at just £20 (approximately $27.23).
The announcement of the tour and album has been met with overwhelming demand, breaking records at both Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden. However, the ticket prices have also sparked conversation, with former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik seemingly referencing the issue during a recent performance in Las Vegas, quipping, “Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high – just saying!”
Fans interested in attending the listening parties were encouraged to sign up for Styles’ text subscription list or tour presale to receive a link to an entry form. The form asked applicants to share their thoughts on what listening to the album would feel like, adding a personal touch to the selection process. Listening sessions are planned for Los Angeles and Madison, Wisconsin, among other cities.
The scale of the “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally” rollout – from intimate listening sessions to stadium-sized performances – signals a significant moment in Styles’ career, solidifying his position as a major force in contemporary pop music. The album’s release and subsequent tour are poised to be major cultural events, continuing a trajectory of artistic growth and dedicated fan engagement.
