Harry styles’ New album Fueled by Dancing and Expanding Social Circle
Harry Styles is releasing a new album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” alongside a tour and the lead single, “Aperture.” The artist credits a renewed focus on socializing and exploring different music genres for inspiring his latest work.
Styles explained to BBC Radio 1 on January 23, 2026, that the writing process coincided with a period of increased social activity. “I was starting to, like, go out dancing a lot more,” he said. “Also, I was just hearing a lot of different types of music and I was … going to parties with friends and stuff.”
This shift occurred as his producer experimented with modular synthesizers, creating a confluence of influences. Styles described “really diving into” both his social life and his home music production, including playing piano.
He told John Mayer on SiriusXM on January 24,2026,that touring can lead to isolation. “Your life slowly becomes more isolated. the corners just start coming in,” Styles said. “Whether it’s the people you trust or you know, your friendship circles get slightly smaller over time, just as people’s do when they grow up.” He emphasized that the past couple of years were about “opening back up.”
“Aperture,” the first single from the album, was the last song recorded. At 5 minutes and 11 seconds, it challenges typical song lengths, as noted by the Los Angeles Times in their “25 Best Songs of 2025” list. The article compares the track to Bad Bunny’s “baile Inolvidable” in its deviation from current musical conventions.
