Accommodation can be arranged for family and friends
Officials said those, including expatriates in Qatar, will have the opportunity to arrange accommodation for their family and friends who come from overseas to watch the game. Special website for accommodation booking
The local organizing committee has launched a special website to book accommodation for visitors from foreign countries. This allows football fans to choose from a variety of accommodation options available in Qatar. Residence booking is mandatory for non-resident spectators in Qatar. There are about 25,000 rooms under Barwa City Village and 4,000 rooms on two cruise ships. Apart from this, accommodation has been arranged for the spectators coming to the World Cup in various regions. Accommodation can be booked through the dedicated link on the Supreme Committee website. Apart from this, spectators can also find accommodation through the traditional hotel and holiday accommodation booking website. Those coming from abroad will be able to complete the Haiya card application process only after completing the booking process for accommodation, officials said.
Booking procedures are much easier
