The incident took place this morning in Alanlı District of Samsun’s Atakum district. Allegedly, Ekrem Akpınar waited for 5 hours in front of the house of Mustafa B., with whom he was at odds over a debt issue. In the morning, Mustafa B. was attacked by Akpınar when he left home to go to work. Mustafa B. was injured by gunshots in his right and left legs. Mustafa B. was taken to the hospital and treated by the medical teams dispatched to the scene upon notice.
Police teams caught Akpınar, who escaped after the incident, in the house where he was hiding. It turned out that Akpınar accidentally shot himself in the left leg while he was tampering with the gun at his home and was dressing it. The suspect, who was taken to the police station after his treatment in the hospital where he was brought with minor injuries, was arrested in the court where he was taken after the procedures.
