The opposition judge in northern Cairo renewed the detention of a girl for 45 days pending investigations, on charges of killing an elderly man who asked her to practice vice, in exchange for her obtaining a residence in the Al-Marg area.
The Public Prosecution in Cairo revealed the details of the investigations into a girl accused of ending the life of an elderly man who asked her to practice vice in exchange for obtaining a residence in the Al-Marj area.
The Public Prosecution’s investigations revealed that the girl needed a place to stay in the Al-Marj area, so she turned to a real estate broker in order to get a room. (According to her statements in the investigations), “I needed a room to accommodate me.”
The accused said that as soon as she met the broker, he asked her to accompany him in order to obtain her request, but upon arriving at the apartment, he felt her body and offered her housing in exchange for practicing vice with him.
The girl confirmed in her statements before the Public Prosecution that she had no choice but to agree to his request so that she could get a place to sit, but the elderly man went out and brought his things to stay with the girl, so she thought about getting rid of him and stealing his money so that she could rent another place to stay, and she ended His life before he got his request: “I strangled him with the veil before he could do anything.”
The Public Prosecution decided to detain the accused pending investigation, requested that the security services investigate the incident, and present the girl to forensic medicine. To confirm whether it is a virgin or not, and to authorize the burial of the body after completing the anatomical description of the elderly person.
The beginning was when the Marj Police Department received a report from a young man that he had found the body of his father hanged inside his apartment. Immediately, a force of police officers from the department moved in and found the body of an elderly man, 78 years old, with a veil around his neck and a piece of cloth inside his mouth.
During the investigation, it was found that the victim had multiple relationships with women and brought a homeless girl to practice vice with her. After he took off the lower part of his clothes, the girl attacked him and hanged him with the veil she was wearing. Then she put a piece of cloth in his mouth and fled, and the security services arrested her. The body was transferred to the morgue at the disposal of the Public Prosecution. The detectives seized the surveillance cameras that monitored the victim’s movements until his death. The necessary report was drawn up and the Public Prosecution was notified.
