Kalamasery Blast: Health Minister Urges Prompt Medical Assistance

Health Minister Veena George has taken immediate action following the blast in Kalamasery by directing a team of burn treatment experts from Kottayam Medical College to provide urgent medical assistance at Kalamasery Medical College. In addition to this, Kottayam Medical College has been put on standby to ensure prompt treatment is available. The minister has also requested an adequate number of Kaniv 108 ambulances to be made available for emergency transportation.

Earlier, the minister had instructed the directors of the health department and the medical education department to ensure that the injured receive the best possible treatment. Additionally, hospitals were cautioned and all health workers, including doctors on leave, were urged to return immediately.

In related news, authorities have advised hospitals to remain on high alert and have called for healthcare professionals who are currently on holiday to return to work.
