Thiruvananthapuram: Heavy rainfall in the state (Heavy Rain) Continues. The cyclone formed along the coast of Tamil Nadu has caused heavy rainfall in the state. The Met Office has warned that the rains will continue till Wednesday.

Over the next three hours, it will reach 40 km per hour in isolated places in Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts. M The Central Meteorological Department has forecast strong winds and thundershowers.

In Thrissur district, heavy rains caused extensive damage. Kozhikode is also receiving heavy rains. Yellow alert has been declared in six districts tomorrow. The yellow alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad districts.

The Central Meteorological Department has forecast isolated heavy showers with thunderstorms. An orange alert was declared in Idukki on Monday.
