Ms. Paethongtan Shinawatra, Prime Minister, presided over the victory ceremony, presenting cash prizes and congratulating athletes, coaches, sports associations, officials and sports personnel who took part in the 17th Paralympic Games in Paris, French Republic Between 28 August and 8 September 2024, to provide morale and encouragement to the Thai national team athletes and officials participating in the competition.

This time, the Prime Minister presented the prize money of the competition in the amount of 212,150,000 baht, divided into prize money for 25 athletes who received medals from the competition, a total of 162,600,000 baht.
Including a gold medal of 6,000,000 baht, a silver medal of 4,000,000 baht and a bronze medal of 2,500,000 baht.

In addition, the Prime Minister gave prize money and souvenirs to coaches and 2 associations that took part in the competition: 1. Sports Association for Disabled People of Thailand Under Royal Patronage 2. Sports Association of Thailand for People with Mental Disabilities, total of 44,150,000 baht and giving special prize money to 53 athletes taking part in the competition, 100,000 baht each, and 2 guide runners, 50,000 baht each, from 4 associations A total of 5,400,000 , this is to provide morale and encouragement to all athletes.

The Prime Minister then performed a real-time cash-handover ceremony for prize-winning athletes and their associations by touching hands on the ceremonial stage.
