Who was Abu Ali Rida?
According to the Israeli army, Abu Ali Rida was the mastermind behind the planning and execution of rocket and missile attacks against the Israeli army. He was responsible for Hezbollah’s operations in the Barachit region of southern Lebanon.
Other Casualties in the Airstrike
The IDF also reported that Ahmed al-Dalu, a member of the Islamic Jihad military intelligence unit in Gaza, was killed in the airstrike. Al-Dalu was involved in the October 7 massacre in the Israeli community of Kfar Asa. Another terrorist was also killed in the attack.
Al-Dalu was responsible for planning and executing terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians during the 13-month war.
Previous Airstrike Targets Hezbollah Unit Commander
On Sunday, Israel claimed to have killed the commander of Nasser Hezbollah’s unit in Juwaya, southern Lebanon. Jafar Khader Fouar, the head of the unit’s missiles and rocket ranges, was responsible for multiple rocket attacks targeting the Golan. He was behind the strike that killed civilians in Kibbutz Ortal and Metula and 12 children in Majdal Shams.
