HO⁢ CHI MINH CITY (AP)⁣ — tens of‍ thousands of Buddhists flocked ⁣to the ⁢Talent‌ Temple ‍(Bean Chan-gu) in ho⁢ Chi ‌Minh City for the 2025 Besak Festival, notably to view ​the Buddha’s relics. the large crowds prompted significant health⁢ concerns, leading⁣ city ​officials to bolster on-site medical ⁤support.

Medical Personnel Deployed to Address Heat-Related Illnesses

On May 4th alone, medical personnel‌ provided‍ first aid to 278 individuals at the temple grounds. ‌Seven ‌people required further treatment at local hospitals, according to health officials.
