Simultaneously checking gold shops, discovering many necklaces of unknown origin

On August 30, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department said that they had conducted a series of inspections of gold trading enterprises in District 5, thereby discovering many products without invoices or documents, of unknown origin, with a total value of infringing goods of more than 130 million VND.

Specifically, in the past two days, Market Management Team No. 5, under the Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department, established 4 inspection teams to conduct surprise inspections of 4 gold trading enterprises in District 5.

Upon inspection, the enterprises presented their business registration certificates as prescribed. Initially, the inspection team discovered 11 product lines without invoices or documents, with unknown origins, with a total value of over 130 million VND. The team drew up a record to clarify and handle the case according to the law.

In the coming time, Market Management Team No. 5 will continue to simultaneously inspect gold trading businesses in the district to contribute to stabilizing the gold market in the context of rising gold prices.
