Tesla Enhances Maps with Trailer-Compatible Supercharger Locations

Tesla is introducing a new feature to its Maps that identifies Supercharger locations with trailer-compatible parking spaces, making it easier for users to plan their routes and recharge their vehicles.

This feature will be included in software version 2024.44, scheduled to be released as a Christmas update. Once updated, the feature will automatically appear when the vehicle is in tow mode.

With this addition, users can now check if their Supercharger has trailer-compatible space by tapping a Supercharger location pin on the map. When the vehicle is in tow mode, trailer-friendly supercharger locations will appear at the top of the list.

This enhancement is particularly useful for those who use their Tesla for hauling and towing purposes. By making informed travel arrangements and knowing which Supercharger location to stop at to recharge, users can avoid the hassle of arriving at an unsuitable location that is crowded or already charged.
