Recently, a reader reported to Orange Persimmon Express: I am an owner of the South District of Country Garden Dongxu Mansion in Xiaoshan District. A children’s basketball hoop was placed in the entrance hall on the first floor of our building at the end of August, but there are clear signs posted in the community elevator and bulletin board that “owners are not allowed to occupy fire escape routes.”
The reporter of Chengshi Express contacted this reader, who said that the community was built three years ago and he had lived here for one year. The community environment and greenery were OK, and he felt comfortable living there, but recently he was disturbed by the basketball stand.
He said, this is not just occupying public resources, since there are regulations, as an owner, we should abide by them. If children play basketball in the entrance hall, there will also be safety issues.
Yesterday, the reporter came to Dongxu Mansion and saw this basketball hoop placed in a corner of the hall.
The reporter contacted the property management of the community, and the staff replied that the situation was true. The basketball stand was placed there by an owner of the same unit. He said it was just for display and would be taken outside when playing. There are children at home who want to play. The staff also said that they had communicated with the owner many times about this matter, but the owner refused to take it back, thinking it was a very small matter and would not affect everyone.
