Guerrilla Games’ “Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered” officially launched on PC and PS5 platforms on October 31st. “Horizon: Dawn of Hope Remastered” is on PC Steam. Players who purchased the original version can upgrade for an additional NT$300. On the store page of the original “Horizon: Waiting for Dawn Complete Edition”, the purchase button has been removed from Steam. Currently, new players can only purchase “Horizon: Waiting for Dawn Remastered Edition”.
However, “Horizon: Dawn of Hope Remastered” was bombarded with reviews after the Steam version launched, and has now reached 63% with mixed reviews. The main reason is that “Horizon: Dawn of Hope Remastered”, as the subsequent PlayStation port works, added the requirement to bind a PSN account.
Many players commented in the comments that the original version of “Horizon: Dawn of Hope” had very good graphics and did not need to be remade. They believed that Sony had launched a new version specifically to connect it to PSN. After the release of “Horizon: Waiting for Dawn Remastered”,According to SteamDB displaythe highest number of players online is only 2,538, much lower than the 56,551 players of the original version.
