Hours before the match…a breakthrough in the crisis confronting Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan!

Saudi Arabia won to avoid the anger of the masses..

What the Saudi fans feared regarding Al-Akhdar’s confrontation with Tajikistan will not happen according to the official assurances that came out a short while ago.

Al-Akhdar will be a guest of Tajikistan, today, Tuesday, at six o’clock Mecca time, in the fourth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The two teams had met a few days ago in the third round, in a match that was won by the Arab team with a clean goal, scored by Salem Al-Dosari. This match caused anger among the Saudi fans, because it was broadcast on the Qatari “Al-Kass” channels, which no local channel did.

To avoid the fans’ anger this time, SSC officially announced a short while ago that the match would be broadcast on Channels 1 and 5.

This announcement comes after reports spread over the past hours about the difficulty of broadcasting the match on any Saudi or Arab channel in general, due to Tajikistan allocating a very high sum of money to sell the rights to broadcast the match.

It is noteworthy that Al-Akhdar leads his group’s standings with nine points, followed by Tajikistan and Jordan with four points each, then Pakistan without any point.
