Huawei Cloud Launches Flexus: Transforming Cloud Computing for Egyptian Businesses at Cairo ICT 2024

Huawei Cloud recently launched Flexus, a new package of cloud services aimed at enhancing cloud computing for companies in Egypt. This launch took place during Cairo ICT 2024 and reflects Huawei’s dedication to digital transformation in various industries across Egypt.
Flexus targets small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, and developers. It features high performance, scalability, and security tailored to the needs of sectors like retail, fintech, e-commerce, and software development. This solution helps companies reduce costs, streamline operations, and manage budgets effectively.

The Flexus suite includes three main products:
- Flexus L Instance (FlexusL): This lightweight cloud server is user-friendly and cost-effective, enabling users to deploy solutions in three simple steps. It offers twice the average industry performance at no extra charge.
- Flexus X Instance (FlexusX): This option allows businesses to choose from over 100 vCPU-to-memory ratios, providing tailored flexibility for diverse workloads such as e-commerce live streaming and gaming.
- Flexus RDS: Powered by MySQL, this database solution is efficient, easy to manage, and more affordable than traditional database services.
These products address the need for resource optimization, helping businesses save up to 30% in computational costs. Flexus also enhances operational capability and supports partnerships crucial for digital growth.
The launch also included the Pioneer Experience Program, developed in collaboration with local partners Dimofinf and Cloudypedia. This initiative aims to facilitate digital transformation in sectors such as retail and fintech by offering customized cloud solutions.
Huawei Cloud signed two Memorandums of Understanding with Dimofinf and Cloudypedia during the launch, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and collaboration in Egypt. Jo Xu highlighted Huawei Cloud’s role in providing scalable solutions that meet the specific needs of Egyptian companies.
