Edencrest Opens 10th Senior Living Facility, Expanding Senior Care Role in Adel
hubbell Realty Co. has inaugurated its 10th Edencrest senior living facility in Adel’s Southbridge neighborhood. the $17 million community offers a vital senior care role, featuring 44 assisted and independent living units alongside 26 memory care units.The assisted and independent living options include studios, as well as one- and two-bedroom homes.
Managed by Hubbell’s Highmark Senior Living, the Edencrest at Adel, located at 621 302nd Place, is already 7% leased since its early May opening.Six residents are expected to move in soon. The facility boasts amenities such as fitness centers, gathering spaces, a general store, barber shop, spa, and family areas. It is also conveniently located near trails, a walk-in health clinic, and a future ADM school district high school.
Hubbell Realty, based in West Des Moines, introduced its first Edencrest senior living facility in 2014, called Edencrest at Riverwoods in Des Moines. The company has since opened two additional edencrest facilities in Waukee and Pleasant Hill within the past year.
A Hubbell spokeswoman noted the growing demand for senior living communities in Iowa, driven by the aging baby boomer population. She added that seniors are carefully considering their long-term living decisions.
Hubbell currently has no immediate plans for further edencrest developments, according to the spokeswoman. The company is focusing on maintaining the quality of care, customer service, and upkeep of its existing communities.
A grand opening event is scheduled for June 26, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the new facility. The event is free to the public and will feature facility tours, live music, and refreshments.
