Trot singer Hwang Min-ho received rave reviews for his stage performance full of passion and excitement on KBS 2TV’s entertainment program ‘Immortal Song’.
Hwang Min-ho appeared on the show, which aired on the 7th, and performed ‘Today is a Young Day’.
He was the first to be called to the ‘Lee Soon-jae special’ episode, and his performance was met with warm applause.
Hwang Min-ho, who is known for being an ’emotional giant,’ chose Kim Yong-im’s ‘Today is a Young Day’ for his performance. He took to the stage with the determination to “have fun and give a great performance.”
His unique emotional and fun voice, combined with the beautiful stage setup and balloon decorations, caught the attention of the audience.

After finishing the performance, Hwang Min-ho explained the meaning behind his song choice, saying, “There is a gap of 79 years between Teacher Lee Soon-jae and me, but today is your youngest day and today is my youngest day, so I chose the song because I thought it would be appropriate.”
Lee Soon-jae praised Hwang Min-ho’s performance, saying, “For our youth, today is not just a youth day. Today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow are the days of young people. From now on, it is our youth day. In that sense, it was touching.”
Hwang Min-ho has made a mark with his skills and sensibility through trot audition programs like ‘Voice King’ and ‘Mr. Trot 2’. He plans to continue his active activities with his older brother Hwang Min-woo through various performances and broadcasts.
