The new chairman of the People Power Party’s emergency response committee, Hwang Woo-yeo, held an inaugural press conference and revealed his thoughts and plans for managing the emergency response committee.

This is Hwang Woo-yeo, chairman of the Emergency Response Committee of the People Power Party.
I thought a lot about coming to our company after receiving a call from the party.
I have been part of the party for more than 30 years.
Now that our People Power Party, on which my political life is fully rooted, is facing difficulties, I have once again reflected on the history of elections and decided that now is not the time to rest, but the time to work.
I will do my best to repair the party and restore its glory.
First we will redefine the party’s identity.
As I entered the building, I was greeted by photos of President Syngman Rhee, who founded the Republic of Korea by calling for freedom, and President Kim Young; -sam, who dedicated himself to the cause of democratization.
Our People Power Party is a major political party, which includes the Republic of Korea, a free democratic republic.
We are a proud conservative political party that has maintained the constitutional values of the Republic of Korea.
It is a political party supported by people who feel proud to share the wealth accumulated with their own sweat before reaching an agreement because they ask to share what belongs to others.
It is a political party that believes that giving is more blessed than receiving, and a political party that protects hard-working people.
We reject both communist, socialist and imperialist ideologies that justify exploitative structures.
We are a political party that respects the traditional values of family, religion and nation.
Our party is a political party that firmly supports conservative values and seeks to expand support by persuading those around us.
We must never weaken and undermine conservative values and degenerate into pseudo-conservatism.
Rather, this temptation only confuses and divides people who support conservative parties.
When salt loses its flavor, it becomes useless and is thrown on the ground.
We will consolidate the People Power Party’s identity as a conservative party.
Secondly, we will cooperate with the opposition party.
The opposition Democratic Party, which is a party ideologically different from ours, has its own support base.
The People Power Party must respect the people who support the Democratic Party, so we will respect the demands of the Democratic Party as the voices of the people who support it.
I hope the Democratic Party also sees and accepts our party as the voice of the people who support us.
By winning more than 180 seats, the opposition party can also nullify the cooperation provisions of the National Assembly Advancement Law.
Legislative dictatorship and even enforcement of legislation became possible.
Even so, the divergent opinions of the governing and opposition parties must become one voice through the dialectical sublimation of the opposition.
This is politics and this is the National Assembly.
A country cannot resist if the government and opposition parties are divided and public opinion is also divided.
Therefore, let the ruling and opposition parties listen to each other’s voices and work together to find a harmonious voice.
No matter what the circumstances, we must preserve the spirit of the National Assembly Advancement Act.
At a time when the proud K culture is loved by the world, let us also spread K politics in our politics.
Third, the People Power Party will now become a melting pot of love.
First, I will start with patriotism and ardent love for my country and my people.
This love brought us into politics.
And the camaraderie.
We are comrades united under the banner of conservative values.
Companions who share values are closely linked by a cord of love that overcomes every difficulty and pain.
Small differences, misunderstandings and flaws dissolve in our love and disappear without a trace.
We are one.
The passionate love of comrades who have shared blood in various battles over a long period of time flows from their hearts.
Our love will go beyond the fence and extend to other political parties that are political in some way.
Even if they make claims that differ from ours, we will do our best to understand them, if possible, and, if possible, work together to make their claims come true.
Our People Power Party is a melting pot of love.
This power of love will enrich this country and make it a great country respected by the world.
Fourth, the Emergency Response Committee will carry out its duties without interruption.
The emergency committee’s mandate is six months, but its duties end with the conclusion of the national convention and the formation of new leadership.
We will not only quickly prepare for the national convention, but also not neglect the urgent livelihood of the people and innovation of the parties, which are of utmost concern.
We will fulfill the tasks assigned to us by the party’s statute and regulations without any distinction between management and innovation.
I have been given emergency powers under the party constitution.
We will attenuate and harmonize the relationship between government and party.
Only the voices of party members and people will serve as a compass for the emergency committee we lead.
We will clearly maintain our party’s identity, but we will respond to people’s calls for change with an open attitude that we can change anything.
We will make reforms until you say we have become citizens.
We will pursue innovation that goes beyond the recovery level.
I will keep in mind the spirit of the Select People’s Party.
We will become a greater and stronger people’s power.
We will be reborn as an inclusive political party capable of working with more people.
People are watching us closely right now.
Will we proceed wisely to satisfy public sentiment, will we act with an attitude no different from the past? Will we look at this and give our party another chance in the next local elections, or will we ignore it forever? ? He will do it.
We will more courageously pursue the popular livelihood policy that the people demand.
We will become a political party that comes closer and participates more actively in people’s lives.
I will put all my passion into becoming a political party that is once again recognized and loved by the people.
