Hyuna Collapse & Weight Loss: K-Pop Star Health Update

Hyuna Collapse & Weight Loss: K-Pop Star Health Update

November 11, 2025 Marcus Rodriguez - Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Hyuna collapses During Concert,Health Concerns Rise

Famous K-pop singer and rapper Hyuna collapsed during a concert in Macau on Sunday at the ‘Waterbomb Macau 2025’ event. The incident occurred while performing her hit song “Bubble Pop,” ‍and she was quickly ‌assisted off stage by dancers⁣ and security. ⁢Footage of the event has been circulating on social media.

The ‌collapse ‌has sparked discussion online regarding Hyuna’s recent weight loss methods and ‌potential ⁣health issues. She‌ recently ‌revealed losing 10 kg ‍(approximately 22 lbs) ⁣in one‍ month, a rate considered possibly harmful.⁢ losing more than half a kilogram (about 1 lb) ⁢per week can lead to health problems, and Hyuna’s rapid weight loss, combined with strict dietary restrictions (reportedly eating only one kimbap roll a⁤ day), ⁢is raising concerns.

South Korean ⁢media reports suggest Hyuna may be suffering from vasovagal syncope. This condition can cause a sudden drop in heart rate and ⁢blood pressure due to stress, fatigue, extreme weight loss, or dehydration, leading to decreased blood flow to the brain and unconsciousness. In severe cases,⁤ individuals can experience up to 12 blackouts per month.
