Hyundai Motor Group Extends Warm Support to Jamboree Members

Jang Jae-hoon, President of Hyundai Motor Company, personally showed his support and encouragement to the members of the Jamboree. The Hyundai Motor Group, known for its unwavering commitment, continues to provide full support to Jamboree members from six different countries.

The Hyundai Motor Group has not overlooked any detail when it comes to ensuring the safety and comfort of Jamboree participants. For instance, during the ‘K-Pop Concert’ held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam, the members were furnished with a star-shaped luminous light stick, a variety of snack sets, and raincoats, allowing them to fully enjoy the event.

Furthermore, in order to guarantee the well-being of the crew members before and after the event, Nametech, a personalized identifier, was provided. This included the crew member’s name, contact information of the guide, as well as the vehicle number and accommodation details written in English and Korean. The lighted cheering stick also bore the group’s logo for easy identification.

On the fourth day of their enrollment, Jamboree members had the opportunity to partake in various activities prepared by Hyundai Motor Group. For those staying at the Mabuk Campus of the Human Resources Development Center, they engaged in firsthand experiences with cutting-edge technology such as robots and future mobility devices. From witnessing the incredible movements of Boston Dynamics’ four-legged walking robot ‘Spot’ and the versatile mobile platform ‘MobED’ to taking virtual flights with advanced air mobility (AAM) equipment, members were immersed in a futuristic experience.

Additionally, some members enjoyed learning Taekwondo Poomsae and Songpan cutting techniques, while others delighted in traditional Korean games such as Jegichagi, Yutnori, Toppinning, and Gonggi. Racing games on driving machines further added excitement to their itinerary.

President Jang Jae-hoon paid a visit to the Mabuk Campus during their stay, where he observed the programs that Jamboree members were involved in. He meticulously inspected all aspects, including accommodation, meals, and medical care, ensuring the utmost comfort for participants.

Expressing his confidence in the team, President Jang Jae-hoon encouraged the staff to provide unwavering support and considerate assistance to all Jamboree members, enabling them to safely and healthily conclude their schedules in Korea and return home.

Meanwhile, the Jamboree members from El Salvador, residing at the Hyundai Engineering Blue Monte, had the opportunity to engage in traditional Korean crafts. They crafted beautiful bracelets, hand mirrors, and Griptok mobile phone holders, utilizing ancient techniques such as knots and mother-of-pearl. The program was highly appreciated, with the Ambassador of El Salvador to Korea, Jaime Jose Lopez, personally attending and expressing his gratitude towards Hyundai Motor Group.

Hyundai Motor Group is committed to offering guidance and meticulous attention to the Jamboree members until the end, ensuring they have a safe and comfortable experience throughout their stay in Korea.
