Argentina World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez says he knows nothing about the rumors surrounding his new club in different corners of the world and is now focusing on the club’s next game.
“I don’t know about my future or the instructions, that’s what my representative takes care of,” Fernandez, who received the FIFA World Cup 2022 ‘Young Player’ award, told Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano in an interview.
“I don’t want to get into the subject. I’m focused on Benfica, we have a game on Friday,” he added. Clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool are said to have shown interest in the Argentine.
The 21-year-old midfielder currently plays for Benfica. Captain Lionel Messi, who inspired Argentina to a third World Cup victory, praised Fernandez in Qatar.
