HorsegiirL, the artist who claims she is half-horse, has announced her debut album titled Nature Is Healing, set for release on June 5, 2026, via RCA Records.
The announcement includes the release of a new single, “Earth is Turning,” accompanied by a visualizer in which the artist is seen caressing a large bird of paradise leaf.
According to a press statement, the project originated after HorsegiirL experienced industry burnout and traveled to Ecuador to decompress. There, she participated in an ayahuasca ceremony, during which she realized her “life’s purpose was to help guide humans to greater awareness of how they are affecting the world.”
In the statement, HorsegiirL said, “I want to remind human beings that they are part of nature. You are not looking at nature from the outside, but you are right in it.”
The album Nature Is Healing expands her trance music roots to incorporate downtempo, electroclash, and hyperpop influences. She is working on the project with producers Casey MQ, A.G. Cook, and her close collaborator Luvhunter.
HorsegiirL first gained attention with her 2022 EP Farm Fantasies, created in collaboration with Berlin-based producer MCR-T. In 2025, she released the solo EP vip – very important pony.
The album’s release coincides with the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac cycle, a detail noted in the announcement.
