A man in his 30s has been arrested by the police for pushing an unidentified woman onto the track on a Hong Kong subway platform.
Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post reported on the 28th that a 33-year-old suspect, A, had pushed a woman walking past him and dropped him onto a track at Tunmun Taihing Station. At that time, the scene was filmed on video and spread through social networking services (SNS).
In the video, the 47-year-old victim B, a woman who fell 1 meter down, immediately got up after falling down to the platform, and the scene of Mr. A pushing Mr. B and walking slowly as if nothing had happened. Others at the scene immediately rushed to the site where Mr. B had fallen.
B was taken to the hospital for treatment of bruises on the shoulder and hand, and it is known that he is currently discharged.
Police immediately started a search for the suspect immediately after the incident and discovered that Mr. A lives near Tai Hing and works as a driver in the transportation industry. The motive for the incident has not yet been revealed.
