The ICC has announced its team of ‍the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup, showcasing stellar performances from ⁢across the globe. The team, selected in batting order, features a strong Australian and English ⁣presence,⁤ recognizing their notable contributions to the tournament.

Australia’s Alyssa⁢ Healy (wicketkeeper) and Beth Mooney headline the ⁢batting lineup.Healy​ scored 236 runs at an average of 39.33, while Mooney amassed 259 runs at⁣ 64.75. Their partnership set a new women’s​ T20 World Cup record,⁤ accumulating ‍352 runs together.

England’s Nat Sciver and Heather Knight also earned spots. Sciver​ tallied 202 runs at an impressive 67.33, and Knight added 193 runs at 64.33. Knight distinguished herself as the first English ‌cricketer to score centuries in all three formats.

Australian⁣ captain Meg⁤ Lanning, who led her team to their fifth Women’s T20 World Cup title on home soil, joins ‍the squad. Her crucial 49 in the semi-final against south Africa underscored her value.
