The Idaho State men’s basketball team achieved a 78-66 victory against the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. This marked the team’s first win against the Toreros, improving their all-time record to 1-3 against them.

The Bengals started strong, leading 8-2 early in the game thanks to a three-pointer from Connor Hollenbeck. They maintained their advantage until San Diego cut the lead to one point at 25-24. However, Idaho State closed the half with an 11-2 run, sending them into halftime with a 36-26 lead.

Idaho State continued its momentum in the second half, extending their lead to 16 points early on. San Diego made a late push, reducing the deficit to four points at 63-59. The Bengals countered with a 12-3 run, securing their lead and ultimately winning by 12 points.
