‘In front of Mbappe’; Lewandowski believes Messi will win the eighth Ballon d’Or

Robert Lewandowski believes superstar Lionel Messi will win the Ballon d’Or award for the best football player in the world for the eighth time. Messi is ahead of Mbappe in winning the World Cup. Lewandowski also noted that the winner of this season will be decided by a victory in the World Cup.

Messi performed well with seven goals and three assists in the tournament, including two goals in the World Cup final. The player also won the Golden Ball for the best player in the World Cup. With this, Lewandowski says that Messi is above Mbappe in the list for the Ballon d’Or award. Lewandowski’s Poland lost to Argentina by two goals in the World Cup.
