Today, Wednesday, the deciding match was held between Al-Qazzazin Damietta Club and Al-Mansoura Club, to advance to the professional league that qualifies for the Premier League, at Mansoura Stadium.

The match started at exactly three-thirty, in the presence of a large number of fans, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for Dakahlia Governorate, Mona Othman.

The match between Al-Mansoura and Al-Qazzazin Youth Center is considered the most important after the competition for promotion to the professional league was limited between the two teams, while Al-Mansoura leads the group table with 34 points, followed by Al-Qazzazin Youth Center with 32 points.

If the Mansoura team wins the match, its tally rises to 37 points. To officially advance to the professional league, but if the Al-Qazzazin Youth Center wins, its score will rise to 35 points, and it is ahead of Al-Mansoura by one point and becomes the closest to promotion, and if the match ends in a draw, it will be postponed to decide the team rising to the professional league for the eighteenth and final week.

A number of citizens, Mansoura fans, were able to enter and jump from the iron fences, while the security director supervised the organizational process.

For its part, Mansoura Club said, in a statement today, Wednesday, that the club’s board of directors, headed by Brigadier General Mohamed Bassiouni, members of the club’s general assembly, the team’s fans association, Mansoura Sports Club, and fans of Mansoura Sports Club, extend their thanks to the public for the support provided during the previous period. Great morale for the first football team, especially recently before the start of the anticipated match between the team and its counterpart, Al-Qazzazin.

The club explained that the sports arena in Dakahlia Governorate is witnessing today what it has not witnessed for a long time in terms of support and support for the technical staff, players and all employees of the first football team.

The club continued: “We know very well that there are large numbers of Egyptian youth and families from Dakahlia Governorate from various cities, centers and villages seeking to march behind the team to support the players and to attend the match, which is known in the media as the promotion match.”

He continued: “Everyone knows how important that match is, and this indicates the cultural awareness of the club’s great fans.
