Incheon City issued the first phase of emergency reduction measures for fine dust… Normal operation of sky and sea roads

While Incheon City issued the first stage of emergency fine dust reduction measures at 6 am on the 21st, passenger ships on four routes connecting Incheon and the island area and aircraft at Incheon and Gimpo Airports are operating normally.

The emergency fine dust reduction measures are the first to be issued in the second half of the year, eight months after the emergency fine dust reduction measures in March.

According to Incheon and Gimpo Airports on the 21st, all flights are operating normally. Passenger ships departing from Incheon Coastal Passenger Terminal on four routes, including Incheon-Baengnyeong Island and Incheon-Yeonpyeong Island, are also operating normally.

Earlier, the city of Incheon issued the first stage of emergency reduction measures for fine dust from 6 am to 9 pm on the 21st, and shortened and adjusted the operating hours for 1 to 3 types of air emission sites.

Incheon City has mandated that 32 mandatory workplaces among air-emitting workplaces be reduced by at least 15%, shortening and adjusting construction time for 699 scattering dust-generating construction sites, and implementing measures to reduce fine dust, such as restricting the use of old construction machinery and strengthening road cleaning. .

However, due to the implementation of holidays, the entire parking lot of city/autonomous district administrations/public institutions will not be closed and public/employee vehicles will not be banned in order to limit the operation of Grade 5 vehicles and to respond quickly to COVID-19.

The city of Incheon urged citizens to refrain from outdoor activities as much as possible and to pay attention to personal health protection such as wearing a health mask when going out inevitably.
