India Sets Target of 142 Runs in First T20 Against Australian Women’s Team

Mumbai: India set a target of 142 runs in the first T20 series against the Australian women’s team. Batting first, Australia were all out for 141 runs in 19.2 overs.

The Aussies were crushed by the excellent bowling of Titas Sadhu who took four wickets. Shreyanka Patil and Deepti Sharma took both the wickets. The other two wickets were shared by Renuka Singh and Amanjot Kaur.

Phoebe Lichfield was the top scorer for the Aussies with 49 runs. Ellis Perry scored 37 runs. Beth Mooney (17) and Annabelle Sutherland (12) are the other two to reach double figures.
