The Zika virus, carried by mosquitoes, is spreading in India, which has recently experienced an explosion in Corona 19.

According to Indian media such as ANI news agency, authorities took emergency response after a case of Zika virus infection in western Maharashtra.

According to reports, the state of Maharashtra announced on the 31st of last month that a woman in her 50s in Pune was infected with the Zika virus.

This is the first case of the Zika virus in Maharashtra.

In response, the federal government said it had dispatched a team of experts to Maharashtra to support the response to the Zika virus.

Previously, the Zika virus spread in India from 2016 to 2018 in northwestern Rajasthan, western Gujarat, and southern Tamil Nadu.

Earlier this year, the first confirmed case of Zika virus was confirmed in southern Kerala earlier this year, and authorities have issued an emergency alert for the entire province.

By the end of last month, there had been 63 cases of Zika in Kerala.

The Zika virus, carried by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, is known to cause neonatal microcephaly and cranial nerve disorders, and there is no vaccine yet.
