India earned the game’s first penalty corner,but Harmanpreet Singh‘s shot went wide. Ireland then won thier own penalty corner, with Luke Madeley’s attempt saved.India capitalized on the ensuing play, with Shilanand Lakra finishing a counter-attack to break the deadlock.
