After being put in to bat first following a lost toss, India posted a competitive total of 228 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 50 overs.

Bangladesh’s response crumbled in the face of India’s exceptional bowling attack. With Jemima leading the charge, Bangladesh was bundled out for a meager 120 runs in just 35.1 overs. Jemima’s incredible bowling figures of four wickets for a mere three runs in 3.1 overs left the opposition spellbound. Additionally, Devika Vaidya’s three-wicket haul further dented Bangladesh’s hopes of a comeback. Only Fargana Hoque (47), Ritu Moni (27), and Murshida Khatun (12) managed to reach double figures in the beleaguered Bangladeshi lineup.
