India’s dependent on countries for Kovid outbreak: Global ‘drugstore’ exported 11.54 crore vaccines

New DelhiIndia distributes vaccine globally As of December 31, 11.54 million doses of Kovid Wax had been exported to 97 countries. This includes contributions to the United Nations’ Kovacs project, which provides vaccines to poor and middle-class countries, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Bangladesh has received 250 million doses from India. 1.86 crore doses have been given to Myanmar as well. Nepal received 94 lakh, Indonesia 90 lakh, Afghanistan 14.68 lakh, Sri Lanka 12.64 lakh and Bhutan 5.5 lakh. In addition, India has given 40 lakh doses to Latin American countries Brazil, 6 lakh to Paraguay, 5.8 lakh to Argentina and 2.28 lakh to Bolivia.

African countries such as Morocco, Congo, Ghana, South Africa and Egypt have also received vaccine doses. Doses have been given to the West Asian countries of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It is estimated that India has given two lakh doses to the UN peacekeeping mission and 1.25 lakh doses to health workers.
