The Cameroon U20 team, also known as the Lion Cubs, made a resounding start to the UNIFFAC tournament by defeating the Central African Republic Fauves with a score of 4-0 at the Alphonse Massamba Debat stadium.

The team demonstrated complete mastery of the pitch, showcasing a perfect game against their opponents from the Central African Republic.

The Cameroon team took control of the game from the first minutes, with their captain Nathan Douala scoring the opening goal in the 9th minute.

Upon returning from the locker room, the Cameroon team continued to dominate the game. In the 49th minute, Yvan Nana, assisted by Nathan Douala, scored the second goal, doubling his team’s lead.

With the pressure mounting, the Lion Cubs added a third goal thanks to Harouna Djibrin in the last quarter of an hour of the game.

As the game drew to a close, coach Yvan Kenmoe brought in Laurent Essounga, who quickly made an impact. Essounga scored the fourth goal, sealing a decisive 4-0 victory for Cameroon.
