Prabowo emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong network among Pacific leaders. He stated, “We discuss many issues, we maintain good trade, which is open but fair.” He views APEC as a key platform for enhancing relations among countries and fostering international trade.
Indonesia, as one of the largest economies in the region, aims to ensure fairness in global trade. The president highlighted the need for trade that is not only free but also fair.
At the APEC Summit, Prabowo engaged in bilateral meetings with other leaders to strengthen trade relations, enhance investment, and discover new cooperative opportunities. He highlighted the significance of inclusive trade that benefits both large and small economies in the Asia-Pacific.
The summit’s theme for this year was “Empower, Include, Grow.” Prabowo appreciated the in-person welcome he received from Peruvian President Dina Boluarte.
