Agrawal’s death was announced on the ‍Mishcosmetics instagram account. The post read,”It is with⁢ a broken heart that we are ⁤announcing the death of our founder,Misha Agrawal. ⁣She built Mishcosmetics.in ⁣and Mish Hair Oil with love,passion,and the dream of making a difference. Thank ⁤you⁤ for your endless love, for your support, and for believing in the dream of Misha. Let us continue to bring her mind to life – together.”

Sister Speaks Out on ⁤social Media’s Impact

Agrawal’s sister⁤ confirmed the news on⁣ instagram, adding that the influencer’s pursuit of online validation contributed to her depression. “My little sister had built her world around Instagram and her⁣ subscribers, with one goal: reaching 1 million subscribers and winning⁣ fans,” she said. “When her‍ subscribers ⁢began to decrease, she was deeply depressed, so much so ⁣that she committed suicide, leaving our family destroyed.”

Battling Insecurities Behind the Filter

Agrawal, who had nearly⁤ 350,000 followers on Instagram, gained recognition in 2023 for openly discussing her hair loss, a topic often considered taboo ⁣in the beauty community. She shared advice and routines,fostering a supportive online habitat. However,⁢ her sister says that behind the scenes, Agrawal struggled with the pressures of⁣ maintaining⁣ her online presence.

“I tried to ⁤console her by explaining to her that it ⁤was ⁣not all her⁤ world,⁤ that it was just a secondary work, and that if it did not work, ⁢it would not ⁤be the end,” her⁤ sister said.“Unfortunately,⁢ my little sister did not listen.”

Her sister’s statement highlights the intense pressure some influencers face, where online metrics can substantially impact ⁢their mental state.
