Musician Intars Busulis released a new album created alongside composer Kārlis Lācis and announced a concert tour across Latvia. The upcoming live shows will feature new tracks from the album alongside well-known songs from earlier in his career.
Album Production And Live Sound
Busulis worked with producer Reinis Sējāns on the new release.
.
The new songs feature lyrics by poets including Marts Pujāts, Kārlis Vērdiņš, and Kate Elpo. The album also includes a track composed by Vineta Lāce with words by Zinaīda Lazda. Special attention has been given to the title track “Uguns”, which features music by Intars Busulis and Kārlis Lācis and lyrics by Marts Pujāts. Describing the track, the author explained: Dziesma vēsta par drūmu nospiestību, kas mūs nospiež kā smags čuguna katls. Taču arī šādos brīžos mēs varam neļaut ugunij nodzist un turpināt to uzturēt dzīvu
.
The album is available in a vinyl record format featuring photography by Filips Šmits.
Concert Tour And Tour Dates
The “Deg mans ugunskurs” tour will feature performances in Cēsis, Rēzekne, and Liepāja, with a grand tour finale scheduled for May 8 of next year at the Xiaomi Arena in Riga.
