Israel released its initial investigation results regarding the Gaza relief truck disaster that occurred on the 29th of last month, showing that the accident was caused by a large number of people flocking together.

This is a repeated claim that contradicts the local UN investigation, which found that many of the injured suffered gunshot wounds.

Thousands of residents of Gaza City, facing the worst food crisis in the country, flock to rescue trucks, leaving more than 100 dead and 700 injured.

Residents claimed that the Israeli army fired at the crowd of people, but the Israeli army denied that it only fired warning shots.

The Israeli army, which completed a preliminary investigation three days after the incident, again claimed it was a stampede.

“Warning shots were fired to disperse the crowd. As the army began to retreat, several raiders approached and threatened them. The soldiers responded by targeting certain individuals.”

Contrary to the claims of the Israeli army, a local hospital said that more than 140 people, or more than 80% of the injured, suffered gunshot wounds.

As a result of the local investigation by the UN delegation, it was determined that many of the injured had suffered gunshot wounds.

The Gaza Strip Health Ministry said at least 15 children have died of starvation in recent days amid difficulties in providing relief supplies.

Humanitarian groups and government officials from around the world criticized Israel for blocking the importation of even supplies necessary for survival, such as anesthetics and respirators.

“We have seen the most needed medical equipment, tents and toilets being refused. Refrigerators, which are essential to preserve medicines for distribution to patients, have been refused.”

On this day, a delegation from Hamas arrived in Cairo, Egypt, resuming negotiations for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages, but difficulties are expected as Israel prevents sending a delegation.
