Woo Jong-soo, head of the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency, said at a press conference today (29): “Late last year, we received a complaint against Pastor Choi for violating the Law on punishment for stalking and was assigned to the Seocho Police Station. We have completed the investigation of the accuser and examined the legal principles to determine whether an investigation is necessary.” “I decided there was,” he said.

In January this year, a conservative group reported to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency that Pastor Choi had persecuted Ms. Kim. They allege that Pastor Choi continued to approach Ms. Kim even though she did not want to do so.
Previously, the Voice of Seoul published a video in November last year in which it appeared to show Pastor Choi handing Ms Kim a luxury bag.
It is said that in September 2022, after President Yoon took office, Ms. Kim received a luxury Dior bag worth 3 million won from Pastor Choi at the Kobana Contents office in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
It is reported that the video at that time was shot with a camera embedded in Pastor Choi’s wristwatch.
